Baby on the move!

So these past few weeks my baby girl doesn't seem like a baby anymore! Seriously, within a matter of a week or so she has been doing all kinds of new things. She's crawling, and pulling up, and clapping, and waving, and talking. Wow. It's so weird to think she's almost 8 months old!

She is so active. I mean she sees something she wants and she crawls as fast as she can to go get it. And she doesn't understand "no" yet so we're all learning here. lol It seems like I put all her toys in front of her but she still goes for the Stero or the picture frames or the tv! She's pulling up on everything, too. It's starting to get dangerous! She's fallen a few times, just on the carpet but still...
I'm just worried about the time when she actually hurts herself! I was talking to a friend yesterday and she was saying how her son just got a big goose egg on his head. Ugh. Not looking forward to those.

Parenting has changed so much for me these past few weeks bc she is just so different now and she doesn't just lay there anymore! She's going going going. I can tell she is smart bc she is catching on so fast to everything. Her little brain is soaking up so much stuff. I love it. It's so much fun to watch her grow and learn new things.

We just recently had to lower her crib bc she's starting to stand in it. So now everytime I come in to get her from her nap..she's just standing there waiting :) They say that the older they get the more fun. I totally agree, but holy cow..I have to keep my eye on her 24/7! She's just my busy little bee.

I feel so blessed to have her and know that she is healthy and developing normal, etc.

I'm Thankful

Here are a few things I am thankful for...since it's almost Thanksgiving!

1. I'm thankful for my husband. He is such a great man of God and my best friend.
2. I'm thankful for my beautiful daughter.
3. I'm thankful for my parents and brothers. They are so special to me.
4. I am thankful for Christmas music :)
5. I am thankful for Andrew having a good job, so I can stay home with Kaiya.
6. I am thankful for cameras..I love capturing memories.
7. I am thankful for my friends. Even when we are apart, we are still together.
8. I am thankful for my business, Thirty-One, it helps with some extra income!
9. I am thankful for heat in our apartment!
10. I am thankful for Jesus. He saved my life.

I wanna write!

Okay-- So I know I'm not very good at keeping up on this thing. I just can never find time to do it! I enjoy it but just never give myself time. Ugh. I keep my hands full with my little 7 month old :)

Another reason I don't always post is because everything I think to write about is personal..I mean like about our lives. And it's hard for me to want to post that to the whole world. I like reading and keeping up with other people..but I just feel weird writing about me. IT's like..who would wanna read it.? lol But like I said, I really do love to write.

I want to write a book someday. I always think about it. Like..hmm..I could put this in my book someday! I want to write a book with Ashley Huntzinger! :) We thought about starting a newspaper thing in college and then never got around to doing it. I would love to write tho. I've thought about eventually going to journalism school, but then always scared I wouldn't like it, you know? Maybe someday you'll see my name on the book you buy :)

Okay I better go tend to my little stinker ... :)

5 months..Sigh

Today my beautiful baby girl is 5 months old. I cannot believe how fast it has gone. She is growing up before my eyes! I love her so much, I cannot explain it. I honestly never knew I could love something so small, so much. She's my everything!
I love watching her grow and learn new things. For a while now she's been rolling over. Well now she rolls both ways and fast! And she's also scooting across the floor on her back. Lol She is a crazy baby. She's smiling so much and laughing a lot. She loves it when I sing to her and laughs when I sing her special song (one i made up). She loves to read. Elmo is her favorite book. She loves being outside, even though we're finding out that she probably has allergies. :( She is her daddy's little princess. She smiles so big when he walks in the room of even if he smiles at her. They are pretty good buds and I know she will have him reallly wrapped around her finger by the time she's 1!
So many things are running through my mind when I think about the journey that lead us to where we are now. Getting married, finding out we're pregnant 2 mnths later, being sick, gaining weight, waiting on the baby, having the baby, being blown away meeting my baby, recovering, watching her grow and now...she's 5 months old. I'm trying to soak every single moment up that I can. I know it goes by fast. So I just hold her sometimes and stare at her...because I know tomorrow she will be a little bit different. And then eventually she'll be all grown up and I'll look back and cherish all these moments. What a wonderful blessing it is to be the mommy of Kaiya. Gosh, I made myself cry! lol All you mommies reading this understand how I feel. Have a blessed day and remember to cherish the moments with your kiddos!

Fair Week

It's almost time for the fair to be over..just a couple more days.
Yesterday Kai was in the baby show. There were different age groups and she was in the 4-6 months one. There were 7 other babies in her group. She ended up getting second! She was being so cute the whole time..I honestly don't know how she didn't get first! But she was just being miss personality..she was smiling and talking and trying to play with the other little girls around her. It was so cute. It was cold out there that morning too so I'm glad she wasn't too cold to smile! So then later that night all the winners got to walk across the big stage for everyone to see...so Kai got $3 for her piggy bank and a Red Ribbon! It was a good day.

Today Andrew comes! I'm so excited to see him...and we're going to walk around the fair and eat cotton candy and ride the ferris wheel! yayy!! lol This week has gone by fast it seems like. I really miss Andrew and want to see him again but I don't want to leave my family! It's been so great being around all of them..I just feel more alive when I have my family around. But I'm going to have to get over that because we will probably be moving thousands of miles away next year. *Sigh* I just keep remindng myself that God's plans are better than mine.. :)

Away from my hubby..

Hey! So this week is the Putnam Co Fair in Unionville, Mo. And most of you know that I'm selling Thirty-One Gifts and my mom is too! Anyway..we decided we would give a shot at selling stuff at the fair this week. We have a booth and everything and stuff to sell! I'm excited and I hope we get a lot of sales. Maybe we will even get new recruits!

This past weekend has been really good. We had my parents 25th wedding anniversary that went so well! It was a great surprise and niether of them saw it coming! There were a lot of ppl who showed up. It was fun. It was nice that Monday was Labor Day bc I got to spend more time with Andrew-since he didn't have to work. But the bad part is we will be apart all week! I was already missing him last night and he'd only been gone for like 5 hours or something. lol But this week will be nice to spend with all my family here since eventually we won't be so close to see them very often. So I'm just soaking it all in, enjoying every minute I can.

Kaiya is napping now - but earlier we went on a walk. She had on her new little adidas jumper..she's so cute! It was really windy so we came back to my grandmas and went to the swing set. She really liked swinging..she was so relaxed on my lap. i loved it! That's when I decided it was a good time to put her down for a nap.

I've got another 25 mins or so till my mom gets off work...then we will go set everything up for out booth. The fair started today. Hope everyone has a great Tuesday! God Bless..

Back Again

I'm back! The thing is...I love to write. What kept me from it last time was I just felt like I had to post every day or I felt like I had to keep up. But this time I don't want to feel that way. I'm going to post when I can or when I have something to say. No pressure! So hopefully all of you who kept up with me before will follow me again... :) Watch out blog world...here I come!
